HTS Steering documents

Right now most of HTS steering documents are only available in Swedish. We are currently working on translating some of the steering documents. If you have any questions about the different documents until then, send an email to exp@hts.lu.se.

STATUES

The unions most important steering documents are the statues. The statues regulates the internal rules of the Union, and creates a ground for what the union is, what the union should do and how the union should work. The statues are translated into english.

REGULATIONS

The Regulations are an addition to the statues, and regulates different matters (such as the positions of trust) more specific. If the statues and regulations contradict each other, the statues are the superior document.

POLICIES

The union have different policies that regulate our operations within more specific areas.

GUIDELINES

The unions guidelines guide the work within the internal operations.

OTHER STEERING DOCUMENTS

The Plan of Operations regulates what the union should do, and focus on, during the operational year.

The Authorisation and Delegation order regulates delegations to the Union’s positions of trusts. The Act of Succession regulates the working delegation when in case of illness within the presidium.

The Document of Opinions defines HTS opinions regarding different matters, such as student influence, education and the study environment of the students. The document is supposed to work as support for HTS active members during their work. The union may also formulate their position in specific questions in addition to the document of opinions.

The unions Plan for crisis management declares how the HTS members should act in a crisis. You can also find contact information to the persons responsible for working environment and safety at the union, the faculty and university, as well as contact information to the police and healthcare.

Pedagogical tools

In the description of the positions of trust you will find information about the unions different positions of trust. The description of the positions of trust is not a steering document, but a pedagogical tool for the nomination committee, the representative council and when applying for the positions of trusts.

The Swedish-English Glossary includes translations of the most used words and expression that are used within HTS and the student life.

The unions communication channels is a handbook which brings up how the union should use their different communication channels. The handbook also contains information about the unions graphic profile.

Template for funding application includes information about the union’s two funds and how you as a student may apply from these funds. The two funds that students can apply for are the Operational Fund and the Project Fund. The Operational Fund is intended to extend current operations within HTS, e.g. if a committee wants to host an event. The Project Fund is intended to create new operations within the union, e.g. starting up a new council for your programme.
