ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITIONS 2026/2027
You can now apply for the Presidium and the Union Board for the academic year 2026/2027!

For the Presidium, we are looking for someone who wants to lead the union’s work forward. The role requires the ability to work independently within your own areas of responsibility, as well as in close collaboration with other parts of the union. You have ideas about what can be improved within the union, while also understanding the importance of routine administrative work. The three Presidium positions share several responsibilities but also have distinct individual areas of responsibility. As a member of the Presidium, you will work closely with the university and represent the union’s students in those contexts.
For the Board, we are looking for someone who wants to work with the union’s organisation and contribute to the day-to-day operations alongside their studies. We are seeking candidates with insight into the union’s overall work and who wish to gain further experience in union activities. The Board works together with the Presidium to implement the decisions made by the Representative Assembly.

How to apply
To apply for the Presidium, submit your CV and a personal statement to valberedningen@hts.lu.se no later than 13 March.
To apply for the Board, submit your personal statement to valberedningen@hts.lu.se no later than 13 March.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. After the application period has ended, the Election Committee will invite all applicants to an interview.
Nominate someone else
You can nominate someone by sending an email to valberedningen@hts.lu.se. The email must include the name of the person you wish to nominate, the position for which you are nominating them, their email address, and a motivation explaining why you are nominating them. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.
Please note that both the Election Committee and the nominee need time for the application process, so do not wait until the last minute to submit a nomination. Once a nomination has been received, the Election Committee will contact the nominee with information about the nomination. The nominee must then submit their own application.
The deadline for nominations is 12 March. After the application period has ended, the Election Committee will invite all applicants to an interview.
