How do I become a member?
Become a member of Studentlund!
Studentlund is a partneship between the Unions of Lund, the Nations and the Academic Society. A membership to Studentlund will automatically give you a membership to HTS, a Nation of your choosing and the Academic Society. To take part in our activities as well as to enjoy the rest of the student life in Lund, you have to be a member of Studentlund. Follow the instructions below to become a member today!
How do i become a member of Studentlund?
Step one: Start by registering at the Studentlund website.
1. Sign up
Click the button ”Sign up!”. You will be redirected to the website of Terminräkningsföreningen.
2. Personal number and admissions code
Enter your personal number and admissions code which you can find in your admissions letter.
3. Verify that you are in the correct union
Through your admission to a course at the HT-faculties, you should automatically be a member of HTS when you register for a studentlund membership. Please verify that you have been assigned the correct union before you pay the membership fee. It cannot be changed after you have payed and there are no refunds.
4. Pay the fee
You can now pay your fee! It is preferably payed with a credit card or by swish.
Please note that when paying with online banking it will take 2-3 weekdays before the payment is registered. You are not a member until the payment has been registered and it is only then that you can print out your proof of payment or download the app.
5. Print out the proof of payment or download the Studentkorts-app in your smartphone
Congratulations! You are now a member of HTS and Studentlund. You can now download the app for the student card (called ”Studentkortet”) and log in. There you will have your student card within hours if you have payed with a credit card. Remember that when using your student card you will have to be able to show a valid ID to prove that the student card is yours.
Step two: Choose Nation
When in Lund you will have to personally visit the Nation that you want to join. Your membership isn’t complete until you have visited a nation and signed up. The nations are open for sign up for about four weeks at the start of every semester. Please note that you have to sign up during this period or else your membership won’t be valid after this period has ended. For addresses and opening hours for the nations, click here.
Frequently Asked Questions
I’m a member of another union and I want to switch, how do I do that?
If you have studied at another faculty before, but have now been admitted to a course at the HT-faculties, you need to change your union to HTS. Send an e-mail to us at exp@hts.lu.se with a copy of your Notification of Selection Results or your Certificate of Registration, and then we can help you change your union. Do this before you pay the fee.

How do I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership on the Studentlund website. To do so, you simply press “Already a member”, log in and pay with credit card or swish. You can also pay your membership through the bill that was sent to you at the start of the semester, either through a digital mailbox such as “Kivra”, through e-mail, or to your home adress.
How do I become a supportive member?
If you are a member of another union, put wish to participate in our activities, you can become a supportive member! The fee is only 75 SEK. To become a supportive member, send an e-mail to exp@hts.lu.se.
How do I terminate my membership?
If you are no longer a student at Lund University and do not wish to be a member of Studentlund anymore, you can simply stop paying the bill for the membership fee. The bill that you have received is only an offer to continue your membership, and no there are no further fees for non-payment. If you have already payed your membership for this semester however, you can not get your money nack, according to the general terms and conditions.
